The scent of fresh pine in our home restores my memory of celebrating Christmas with my parents and siblings, and later my own children… it’s that”scent of the holidays” which re-energizes and restores the human spirit!
We prefer an artificial tree due to the size of our living space. We simply don’t have the space to put a tree on the floor. Our tree sits on a table which has worked well for us for years.
For the environment. Faux. For fresh smelling—real wreaths from island-boy!!
I like a real tree better than the artficial ones but now that I am in the retirement home I don’t have the space for wither type so I justuse the top shelf of my bookcase and display all my Hawaiian ornaments. Have a wreath on my door with pineapples and palm trees and a Hawaiian stocking on the inside door with a Hawaiian Santa!
